Jared J. Boles
Paralegal | Paralegal Reservist – United States Air Force
Jared J. Boles is a paralegal at Lewellen | Strebe | Hopper Family Law Group and a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force Reserve attached to Travis Air Force Base.
As a paralegal, he assists with case planning, development, legal research, drafts and analyzes legal documents, and makes recommendations to our team of experienced attorneys.
His military service allows him to provide empathetic support to clients going through a divorce, child custody and child support, restraining orders, paternity determinations, and guardianships.
While an active-duty Air Force aerial tanker crewman, Jared earned Air Medals for deployed service in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, and the Strait of Hormuz.
He grew up in Placer County, spending his years as a teenager and young adult in and around Sacramento before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force.
Depth of Experience
During his active-duty service, Jared realized his passion for the law and transferred to the reserve Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG).
He went on to complete his paralegal education at the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. Shortly after obtaining his Air Force JAG Corps Paralegal Certification, he returned to the Sacramento area as a reserve paralegal and worked for a year in insurance defense discovery management.
Jared possesses associate degrees in meteorology, aviation operations, and legal studies from the Community College of the Air Force. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies from American Public University.
Additionally, Jared is a member of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) Sacramento Chapter, Legal Division, Legal Professionals Incorporated, and the Air Force Sergeant’s Association.
Jared also organizes no-cost legal assistance through the Coalition of Legal Professionals.
Outside of the legal profession, he is an active volunteer in the Do-It-Yourself and Punk Rock communities.
